Root Folder not Showing Under Portal KM BOBJ Folder

Hi All,

I've recently followed Ingo's blog on integrating BOBJ with the SAP Enterprise portal, however, I am having a couple of issues.

When I navigate to Content Admin --> KM Content --> BOBJ Folder, underneath my user, I can see the following:

1. Inbox

2. My Favourites

3. Root Folder - this contains all of the reports on the BOBJ system

When I create a new user and navigate to the destination above using their credentials, they get the Inbox and My Favourites folder but NOT the Root Folder.

Every user currently has Super Admin Portal roles, CRYSTAL_ENTITLEMENT BW roles and Administrator group access in the Central Management Console for BOBJ.

Can anyone advise on why this is not working?

Hi,

you need to make sure that the user exists on the SAP BusinessObjects side with his SAP credentials and has the necessary rights to see folders in the BOE environment

Thanks for your speedy response.

We all currently exist within the BOBJ Central Management Console (http://OUR URL/CmcApp/logon.faces) - is this what you're referring to?

Within that system, the 2 users I am testing also have administrative rights...

Reimported par file and this has resolved the issue.
