We have recently added some assets from old legacy system to SAP.In old legacy system they had useful lives in fraction like 16.23.Now in SAP it has been ( I assume must ) years and month as the useful lives. When we add items to SAP like a beginning upload, you must add years and months and not fractions of years. That is why there is a slight difference in the useful lives. We tried to as approx as possible but still it is not same.Hence the depreciation in new SAP system is slightly more due to rounding off. This is very small amount ( less then 50$ in each case ) but due to this small fraction we have to to do reconciliation. Can any body suggest me how to fix this issue ?Is anyway I can provide positive depreciation to an asset ?
Thanks

If your requirement is specific to decimal places, perhaps you can use percentages to calculate depreciation instead of useful life ie. configure depreciation key based on percentage method.
