C4C Time based planned maintenance

Dear all,

I am planning to set up a maintenance process based on time.

The goal is to issue tickets based on the reference date in reg. product (or start date of warranty) on a monthly base.

For example:

Reg. Product A has a reference date of 09.12.2016

-> Monthly maintenance - Tickets should be due or issued for planning every 9th of a month

How to set up this process? Do we need a messure attribute or can the maintance plan set up so that it refers to the date in reg. product?

Thank you in advance!

    Hi Mirko,

You can set this with condition as every 1 month and schedule the MDRO run depending on from when you want to start generating the tickets. For time based plans, first ticket generation is based on registered product valid from date or reference date. For now a measurement attribute is required. You can find more details in the product documentation.

In 1702, we are making some enhancements to optimize time based maintenance plans. Please check the details after the release.

      Hi Anshika,

Your answer is helpful. After having followed your instructions, I can setup the maintenance plan now.

There's one question my client is then asking... Before the next ticket is automatically generated by the maintenance plan, what if an user manually creates a maintenance ticket? Will the next ticket generation date be automatically postponed according to the Resolved On date of the manual ticket?

      Thank you in advance.

      Man Li.
