Can any one please tell me the minimum hardware requirements for a server in which ECC, BI and BO are to be installed.

What is the version you are planning to install.

Any reason why you want to have everything in one server.

Thanx for the reply first.That is a question which i got from one of my seniors. I was asked to find the minimum h/w requirements if we need to install all three in a single server. and my BO is Enterprise Version.

Hi,

if you are on DEN or QA thats maybe OK - but for PROD i would highly recommend unsing different HW for each of the Application.

Here is the Minimum Hardware requirement for BO XI 3.1 SP3 (latest available version)

2.0 GHz Pentium 4-class processor

2 GB RAM

Hard disk space availability (with English language only) for full release install:

o 6.0 GB for SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise install

Hard disk space availability (with English language only) for patch release install:

o 4.0 GB for SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise install

As Sebastian mentioned, it is recommend to have BO on a separate server.

I would also not recommend to install ECC,BO and BW on the same H/W especially if you are planning to do this on Windows 64 bit.
