Hi,

You are right.Atleast as of now Web Dynpro doesn't seems to work with JavaScript being deactivated. But the documentation do say that Web Dynpro supports "Old Browsers" and Mobile devices. But I don't think it would be possible as long as the CSF is used to render the content at browser. Let us see what is provided in the Server Side Rendering model. No high hopes ..That's what I heard...

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Frank, Hi Sam,

The new rendering (Web Dynpro Rendering) contains JavaScript, even with the mobile device support we use some JavaScript, e.g. the Pocket PC, maybe the first page would appear if you switch off JavaScript support, but as soon as you want to navigate to the next page, it will not work probably.

Hope that helps,

Thank you Karin..It was a good confirmation for a long pending doubt. But could you suggest what is the reason for mentioning the "Support of Mobile devices and Old Browsers which doesn't support js" in the NW'04 documentation..

HI Sam,

Mobile devices have limited JavaScript capability, this is what we utilize. I will take care of changing this within the documentation. You are right, it gives the wrong impression. Thanks for the hint!
