    Hi Arnab,

is the logon via BEx working or do you get the error during the logon? BEx uses the same settings as the SAP Logon Pad so try to logon from the Pad first using the same entry. Then check the BEx installation by running the check routine in SAPBEXC.XLA, which you typically find under C:\Program Files\SAP\Frontend\BW.

    Hi Marc,

I can log into client 800(copy of client 000) but there too I am unable to launch the BIW Administrator workbench .I also would like to know what are the exact roles and Profiles that the userid has to be added to , to be able to launch the above.

I am able to to open the GUI in client 800 but when I launch the Bex Analyzer and try opening a query I get the aforementioned error.

      Hi Arnab,

Check is it happening for all users?

Check the auth object S_RFC, do you have this object in your authorization? check the online doc on authorization, to find which values to set for this object.

Hopefully, it might solve your issue.
