FLat file hierarchy upload in BW 3.0B and higher versions

Hello,

Previously in BW 2.0 flat file upload of hierarchy was possible only by means of IDOC ( not PSA and hence no transfer structure and rules etc).

But in version 3.0 and above hierarchy with both methods of data transfer is possible ( IDOC and PSA).

I tried to upload hierarchy file with both methods, i did not met with success.

When tried with IDOC.. , at the time of data loading in the infopackage.

When i press buttton start in infopackage 'Start' then BW displays error Transfer structure and transfer rules not maintained.

Question : In IDOC type of data transfer.. how can I have transfer structure and transfer rules.

Then I tried with PSA.. i was not able to get any success.

As far as hierarchy file format created for testing is correct one.. so that is not problem and when the file format is correct then only you can preview button of infopackage enabled.

Can you pls say steps what needs to be done for success ful loading of hierarchy.

Here is a link to the online help for loading heirarchies from a flat file. I tested that way and it works finely. It is very explanatory.

If it does not work select Business warhouse 3.0b in to help.sap.com and in that select

Administration workbench
