Additional packinghouse field for 101

hi guys,

Is it possible to add a new text field in trx MB01 header without doing it in ABAP?

Our MM created a "Company SLOC"(not a real sloc) with sub slocs, they want to use the SLOC field to store the "Company SLOC"

and the "Additional SLOC fields" (new packing house field) to store for the "Company SLOC" sub slocs, this is all in the HEADER Document.

Basically they want to shorten the GR process by specifying the subslocs only once in the Document Header, they have no benefit on specifying slocs in line item.

any replies is appreciated.

thanks and regards,

Francisco Bilog Jr.

It is not possible without going for a repair in the standard system but there is an option which you can consider:

In the item level exit (there is one user exit which is always triggered for item), upon hit enter or save, call a pop-up screen and have them populate the field for the values that they want. These additional field(s), you may store at in MKPF (by having append structure) or in an additional z table. It depends on your requirement. If it is one value per document - then go for append structure at MKPF or if it has to have more than one value - go for a z table where it will be stored...

Again, it is not possible without ABAP...
