Progress Indicator

Hi ,

Could anyone suggest a proper method to use the Progress Indicator? I don't think it would work as Web Dynpro request Response cycle is using a signle thread.

I tried to create a seperate thread and use it for the Progress Indicator. It seems this is not working.

Hi Sam,

of course this cannot work, since the request has to be triggered by the client to start a new req/resp cycle

Soon there will be an UI element "TimedTrigger" available which is able to do periodic client requests (one per second for example). I guess, this will take the progress indicator to a "more senseful" level.
