Hi all,
I customized date profile for my transaction type but the date is not editable in Web UI even if it's changble in GUI.
It remains the same by dooing below test:
Test1: Aassign standard profile IT0000000001 to my type.
Test2: Copy standard service request SRVR as ZZSR. Date of SRVR is filled automatically and changable but not for ZZSR.
Is there any key setting omitted?

HI,
Open the transaction in WebUI and goto the date field as press F2.
Then select the configure button and goto the properties of the date field. Check if the Display only check box is not ticked.
If it is so then copy the standard configuration and make changes in the customer configuration to that field properties.

The issue here is not the date profile, it is the differnet
settings for transacton type settings (SRVR <-> ZSDP).
The dates you see, are acutally comming from a item generated. Note
that the serivce request needs a "dummy" item in order to provide
certain functionality (see 2nd screenshot from SAP-GUI).
I guess the creation of this dummy item fails for ZSDP due
to missing setting of item category determination.
I would recommend to copy the settings for item category determination
from SRVR to ZSDP, so that a proper service item is created.

Is it so strange? The copied type from standard doesn't behavor the same.
