Problem with MDK PersistentExample

Hello,

i tried to run the first persistent example.

I have problems with the file <i>ReadWriteEntities.java</i>.

When i try to compile the example eclipse shows a warning:

<b>The type Transaction is deprecated</b>

There is a problem with importing the class com.sap.ip.me.api.persist.core.Transaction;

Do anybody know this problem?

Best regards.

Daniel

    This is a problem of your Eclipse IDE settings, it isn't error. Your IDE does not allow the code to be compiled when deprecated methods are used.

    Go to Window->Preferences, then select Java->Compiler and choose tab "Problems" (it is the first one). The lowest combobox is named "Usage of deprecated API", the selected value in your case is set to "Error". Just change it to "Warning" and everything will be ok. 😊

    Cheers
