Unable to Login to EP

I have just configured an EP instance. I am able to log in and proceed when I access the EP using domain name (<system name.domain.com>:50000/irj).

But, if I try the same using IP address instead of the system name (eg:172.10.100.25:50000/irj), I am able to access only the login page. If I give a invalid user ID/ PWD, I get a valid error message. But, If I specify a valid user ID/ PWD, system simply remains at the same login page (refreshing the screen) and no actions are performed.

Appreciate clarifications.

I have seen this at several customer sites. Add the server to your hosts file and this should resolve the issue.

Hi,

Please use only fully qualified domain name.

Accessing the portal using IP address is not supported.
