Business Partner synchronization with Customer

Hi,

Could someone please provide me the necessary steps to achieve Business Partner-Customer synchronization? I believe its possible to create a customer automatically in FI when u create a Business Partner from transaction BP. The SAP help pages give the theoretical view of things but i need a step by step approach to this.

Thanks,

Madhu

    hi,

Step 1:-c create a number range in the customer account group

    T.code XDN1

step 2 :- Assign the number range to the customer account group

    T.code OBAR

    Step 3:-

Goto--> cross application components -->SAP business partner --> business partner -->basic settings >number ranges and groupings >define number range

Here define a same number range as of step 1 and then (the number range should be external because we are getting the number from FI)

Goto--> cross application components -->SAP business partner --> business partner -->basic settings >number ranges and groupings > define groupings and assign number ranges

Assign the number range to the account group as of step 2

    Step 4 :-

Goto--> cross application components --> master data sync --> sync control --> activate PPO requests for platform objects in dialog*

enter the Sync object as BP and activate the same

    step 5:-

Goto--> cross application components --> master data sync --> sync control --> activate sync objects

In that activate BP --> Customer and Customer --> BP options

Assuming all the other setting are done

Now if you create a BP in COll mgmt the customer will automatically get created in the FI

    Thank you,

    Regards,

Please visit the FSCM Wiki - there is an article that covers the steps.

      Hi Mark,

Thanks for the info. I checked out the wiki and also some of ur blog posts there. I'm pretty new to FSCM, so found your FSCM overview and implementation posts very informative indeed! I'm more of a Treasury guy currently trying my hand at some scenarios in Collections. I was stuck at this point of Business Partner integration but I see the overall picture better now.

Btw, do you also cover Biller Direct, IHC or Cash & Liquidity Management in ur blog?

      Best Regards,

      Madhu
