I have a legacy report that needs to be updated. We have Crystal Reports 7 Standard and Crystal Reports 7 Pro Upgrade. The installation process requires that standard be installed first then the Pro upgrade.
After following this process, the Help -> About says Crystal 7 Pro Upgrade and the registration is completed. However, when I create a new report, or open an existing report, when I try to perform any database operations, it says that this version of Crystal is Crystal Reports Standard and Pro is needed to access the database?
I have uninstalled/reinstalled twice to ensure that the setup completes without error. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I need the PRO installation recognized so that I can make a minor report modification to this legacy report.
