Hello all,
our Belgian subsidiary has a problem:
Following the Belgian legislation, when the asset is sold, the depreciation of the current year (the year of the sell) must be reversed.
The asset has been sold in February 2010 and this has been done in the SAP system.
But the depreciation has been calculated for January 2010.
Is it now possible to reverse the depreciation for the year 2010? Or do they have the reverse the retirement first before being able to reverse the depreciation of January 2010?
I have tried to set back the Deactivation date in the asset master to 01.01.2010 or 31.12.2009 but then an error message appears AY153 "The deactivation date is before the last transaction".
I found one note 601383 which explains the Belgian depreciation regulations a bit but not for this specific case.
Thanks for your help,
Andre
