Which Portal Services are the core services?

Hi All,

In different places I see different declarations for 'core services' or as they are sometimes refered to 'core applications'. Once I saw 5, now 6, and in another place, well, many more.

Well, Thanks Uwe!

I am familyar with the doc...

I guess I will need to keep updated....

Also, when the J2ee starts and loads all the Portal services, there is a "loading core applications" or "loading core services" message with about 10-15 services there. Could these be the core services?
