Authentication for Portal Service Exposed as WebService

Hi,

I have a portal service exposed as Webservice.I'm able to access the webservice,but now i want to restrict the access based on authentication.how do i go abt.

    Hello,

    A portal webservice work as portal service, each webservice have security zone and you can change the security policy of the security zone link to the portal webservice.

    (The security zone name is available in the portalapp.xml)

    Go to System Administration-> Permissions -> Portal Permissions, in the tree go to the section security zones

    Right Click on the security zone of your portal webservice (defaultSecurity , select 'Edit permissions')and ajust your permissions
