Hi,
As part of a major internal network reorg, the hostname's/FQDN's and IP addresses of a BOXI R2 installation will need to be changed. The current installation consists of five Windows 2003 servers sharing the load (i.e. one server for the CMS, another for Webi, etc...). There is also a sixth SQL Server 2005 server holding the repository which will also be given a new name.
I know this means the repository connection will need to be repointed, and the entry point URL for Webi will change which is fairly easy to hide through a DNS alias. But I expect there must be a bigger impact than just this as the five servers have to 'find' each other?
Does anyone know the process to reconfigure BO to cope with this? I'm perfectly happy to leave the CMS/System name as its is currently defined, but I assume there must be settings somewhere (windows registry, CMS repository, xml files, ...) that are hardcoded to the current hostnames?
Thanks
David Chattell.
