Partner Profile setting

Hi,

I am working on interface which is Delivery Request irom SAP(DELVRY03) to 5 different WMS systems.

Though the data is going from ECC to PI, the receiver partner profile will be pf PI and from PI msg is sent to multiple systems.

In such case do we need to create multiple WMS business in partner profile.

Please provide some valuable inputs on this.

Hi ,

As mentioned by Abhishek single partner profile will suffice you requirement.

I will show this digramatically.

ECC-> Partner Profile-> PI---- 1) WMS

-

---

2) WMS

-

---

3) WMS

The same will be true for the reverse flow.

Now for forward flow ECC to WMS configure the receiver determination in PI with condition, so message will be passed to the respctive WMS system.

In reverse flow you can specify single receiver as ECC so message will be again passed to the single partner profile which is used for the reverse flow.

Could you please little elobarate on this? and what in case of inbound( WMS to SAP)? Do you think we can manage with the one single entry in PI for all these various WMS business?

Hi,

For Inbound also One profile will suffice unless you have some special requirement like you want to notify the alerts during processing failure to the respective incharge person who is dealing with that systems data...

else you can proceed with single partner profile..

if you are not usind parties for WMS systems then you can create just one partner profile for PI in ECC system.

If using party then you need to maintain partner profile corresponding to the respective parties.
