Blackberry Torch Mobile Web Explorer

Hello,

I have an application in web dynpro that works well in blackberry bold (I think is because I can select as browser IE). But when I try to run the same app in blackberry torch I have this message,

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

com.sap.tc.useragent.UnsupportedUserAgentException: User Agent

(Safari, NaN, NaN) is not supported!

I 've talked to SAP and is because the standard browser of torch device doesnt support the dynpro App. So I think the solution of my problem is to change the default browser of the device. Anyone knows if I'm going in the rigth way? If this is the problem, you know how I can change the defult browser?

I've the same problem.

It's not only the Blackberry Torchd device, the problem is related to all Blackberry devices with the new Operative System 6.0.

Does anyone know something about this?

Hello Douglas,

The answer from SAP is,

As we do not support the Blackberry Torch device , you need to get it into SAP certified devices list from are certification team,

and later we need an approval from our webdynpro division head as the application can be supported in Blackberry Torch. Later we could work further on the issue.

So you must look forward for a Sybase Strategy.
