PDV in EP 6.0

HI,

Does anybody know the plugins that can be used to work with the new version of eclipse SDK 3.0?

I tried Eclipse plugin v1.2.zip and it doesn´t work!!

Eclipse 3.0 will be the base of the next major NW Developer Studio release. I already tested it.

that's nice to hear, but does not completely match my question, which was if it is planned to support Eclipse 3.x with plugins.

The background is simple: People who (start to) develop for the EP, as long as they do not use WebDynpro, and as long as they use their own development infrastructure, would like to use Eclipse with the portal plugins provided until now for 2.1.x.

So the question is if these plugins are planned to be updated for use in Eclipse 3.x (so if they are planned to be released independently of the NWDS)?!

no. I am not allowed to do so.

Sorry, no. Maybe the old still work. But i didnt test it.

I just migrated content over from an EP 5.0 environment and com.sapportals.pct.srv.portaldataviewer.par and all associated iviews were skipped by the migration filter and not migrated.

If you recomend using HTMLB to re-create this functionality, does that mean some-one has to custom code a new iview to replace the PDV.

there is no information about PDV anymore in EP6.0 because it is not recommended for EP 6.0 anymore. However u can use it. It is still supported.
