SSO authentication for WebDynpro applications. Need help!

We have WD application running on one WAS6.40 and EP6 on another. We use WD applications as iViews in the Portal. For WD application Authentication property sap.authentication is set to true. We are trying to set up SSO authentication between WD app and Portal. We imported verify.der file from the Portal into WAS with WD application, configured issuing server as described in help, but it still doesn't work. First time we access WD app in iView we are prompted for username and password.

What else we are missing or doing wrong.

I havent tried this with EP 6.0 but we were able to achieve this with EP 5.0 after help from SAP. So I guess it shouldnt be a problem with EP 6.0 considering EP 5.0 doesnt even have an iView template or Master iView for web dynpro , it was just plain URL access.

Have you appended the following properies to the ticket authentication template

ticketsys1

ticketddn1

trustediss1

with the right values

Have you checked if both EP and WAS belong to the same domain

Also ensure that the ticket receiving system has its clock synchronized with the ticket accepting system or atleast slower than the ticket receiving system
