We have a scenario that we need to post an Asset in 2010 that has incorrect Depreciation Planning. Due to a Depreciation Run last Dec 2010, the Asset was included in the Posting with incorrect values.
Now 2011 comes, the user checked the Asset Depreciation Posted and the values are incorrect. What she did was she changed "Depreciation calculation start date" field to have the correct value when she checked the Depreciation Planned. Then she did a Repeat Posting this January 2011 with the Asset. The Asset Values are now displaying correctly with the correct amount posted.
My question is, how about the incorrect amount posted last Dec 2010, which is not now reflected in the Asset Values (Depreciation Posted)? Do we need to reverse the Asset Depreciation Document?
