Disable a payment method

Hi everyone,

The customer would like to disable some payment methods that are no longer used by the users. I do not want to delete, but does someone know how to disable them or better practices to do it?

Hi,

You can disable the payment method from the particular customer from their customer master data.

In future, you can revert it same payment method.

Hi Sanju,

thank you for your prompt reply. I think I was not so clear, sorry. Actually, I would like to disable some specific payment methods in the entire system, it means that it will continue existing in FBZP, but not available to be used on the documents or other entries for this field.

Hi

Can you disable at account group wise which is relavant to your customer.

Go to OBD2 and click on Company code data than suppress payment method at customer level

Hello Karthia,

IF i understand your query correctly

1. TO remove the unwanted payment method you can edit the text of the payment method name as "do not use or something.

2. To stop the usage of the payment method

a)Remove the ranking order for the payment method

b)kindly remove the assignment of bank accounts to payment method

c) Change the available amount as "ZERO"

One thing for sure you have to do some config change & also if they are already using it and want to stop cannot delete it as such.
