BSP Exception: the BSP URL / Does Not Contain Any Namespace Entries

Hi all,

facing the typical nightmare situation; created a BSP application based on a CSV upload. Tested it inhouse, deployed it, an now get the following error following the file upload: BSP Exception: the BSP URL / Does Not Contain Any Namespace Entries

I've never seen this error before, and am not exactly sure what kinds of problems could be involved. Any suggestions?

Hello Peter.

In another forum a user hat the same problem and replyed, that the problem was a deactivated Service.

Please check if all required Services (SICF) are running.

Your URL is bogus. Unfortunately you forgot to append those little details that only makes for frustration at shortly before midnight. Told the people at the garage my car is broken and left. Just forgot to tell them where the car is parked.

At a technical level, I assume you are seeing cx_bsp_no_namespace. And this exception usually comes when the url stops with /sap/bc/bsp/ with the rest missing.

If you can not find the problem after reading some of the BSP Troubleshooting weblogs and some debugging, please route this via OSS. (When you do, include a good HTTP proxy trace.)
