Problem with Variant Configuration...

if I like to get the characteristics of variant configuration from internal to erxternal format, I always get a exponential display for example (2.004030500000E+07 => 03.05.2004) - as you see this is not very usefull for exporting data. Does anyone know a function module or somethings else to solve this????

I also would need the same backwards.
