Newline in WDTextView

Hello,

I wonder how I can make my own line breaks in a WDTextView. Tried '\n' and "<p>", but don't get it.

greetings

Walter

    Hi Walter,

    use the DOS CR/LF: "\r\n".

    Best regards,

    Hello Achim,

in WDTextEdit I can use '\n' or '\r' or "\r\n" and it will give me the line break I need. Setting WDTextEdit to readonly, I get what I intend.

What works as expected in TextEdit gets eaten up in TextView. I do not consider this a feature, ...

Putting HTML tags into an output UI element is a different step.

    greetings

    Walter
