Upgrade from 2005 A - 2007 A into 8.8

Hi SAP B1 Community Expert,

I have a question regarding recommended upgrade procedure.

if I want to upgrade from previous version into 8.8

I've read several thread regarding upgrade,

and one of the point is to upgrade into 8.8 PL 15 since this version is "Re-positioned as upgrade package to enable partners to upgrade their customer installations directly from previous releases"

what I want to make sure is if current version is :

- 2005 A SP 01 PL 31

- 2005 A SP 01 PL 43

- 2007 A SP 00 PL 49

- 2007 A SP 01 PL 07

- 2007 A SP 01 PL 09

do we need to upgrade into latest version from each version above ?

e.g: 2005A SP 01 PL 31 into PL 58 first before 88 SP 00 PL 15

Or we could directly upgrade into 88 SP 00 PL 15?

I'll appreciate any information regarding my question

Hi Alvin,

There is no need to upgrade to the latest patch level. But the minimum requirement needs to be meet. (as mentioned in PatchReadme.pdf file)
