authorization

Hi @all,

I want to develop a web application with WAS 6.20 (R/3 4.7). For authorization I want to use the System User ID. What about the access to other transactions in R/3? Can I limit the access via web?

Where I can find further information or notes?

Kind Regards

Oliver

    Hi,

there is a document here on SDN, which describes how to make such an app with JSP technology. It should be enough to tell you all the details about authorization:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/a1-8-4/web as 6.20 jsp demo on eclipse

    Hi,

    thanks for advice, very useful.

Do you know where the administration of the authorization objects is located (in R/3 or in WAS)? Or other question, could I use the roles and authorization objects of the R/3 system?

In which way the autorization check is running?

    Kind Regards

    Oliver
