CM21 - Dispatching PS activity elements

Hi gurus

Does anyone know if is it possible, during capacity planning, to dispatch PS activity elements (no activities), distributing top chart dates so that they are fitted onto the top bar, without float, retaining before scheduled dates, without time displacement?

Why am I using PS activity elements? An activity element must be firmly assigned to an activity; so that it adopts the scheduled dates that pertain to the activity.

The Project Manager assigns to activity mother only normal duration, while assigns to activity element child: work, work center, plant, activity type. At the end the Project Manager schedules (bottom up scenario) the entire project.

Note: the normal duration assigned by Project Managers is large enough to permit the Work Center Managers can play comfortably with float between activityu2019s dates, managing activity elements offset.

Indeed activityu2019s scheduled start and scheduled finish dates are two milestones for the activity element. This is the focal point: preventing the Work Center Managers from exceeding the two milestones.

I cannot use constraints (start and finish) on the basic start date for the activity because CM21 detects scheduling error when dispatching.

So the Work center Manager assigns to activity element: offset to start ➕ and offset to finish ➖ and dispatches the elements.

Unfortunately CM21 manages true duration of elements (you can see it in graphical table below chart) but when it is dispatching in upper chart the element dates are shifted.

Is it possible with CM21:

1. Keeping original dates for elements in dispatching mode?

2. Fitting element dates without displacements?

Thanks in advance
