Synchronization of ECC custom table with LDAP directory

Hi,

We have requirement where we need to populate a custom table in ECC with the Employee information stored in the Active Directory. Basically we will require synchronization of LDAP with ECC custom table.

Kindly help me if anyone has come across similar scenarios earlier.

Well, it is no where connected to portal scenerio, but we have done the similar kind of thing with portal,where portal UME is configured to LDAP , and all LDAP information was stored in portal user information database. For this we changed many things in XML file while configuring UME of portal, but i doubt there want be any xml file used to configure LDAP with ECC to get information from ECC table.
