KM is down and is giving Portal runtime error

Hi all ,

My KM has been down and is giving me a runtime exception with the following trace in NWA .

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sapportals/htmlb/AbstractCompositeComponent

Loader Info -


ClassLoader name: [sap.com/com.sap.portal.runtime.config.component]

Parent loader name: [com.sapportals.portal.prt.util.AutoClassLoader@4b144220]

I guess i need to maintain reference to the above library in portalapp.xml , but not sure of which par . I even deployed the com.sap.km.cm.main from my a different system into this one , still it gives the same error . Kindly suggest.

hi mayank,

once we faced the same type of situation in dev server, luckily restarting the server helped to resolve this error.

i also interested to hear the exact solution from Experts.
