Hello All,

Client has three company codes and one plant in each company code. I want to use batch specific unit of measurement for one plant only. If we activated it for one plant, is it affect on other plants also?

Hii,

Batch specific UOM is effective unless u assigned for the particualr material & deifine the realtion with Batch characteristics. Batch SPec UOM is defined at material level, so, it wont have any effect on other plants.

@mayura123

First thing is BSUOM char is assigned to a batch class and that batch class assignment to a material is not plant specific. It it will be valid for all the plants.

You have to use different material. However you can try using different production units for different plants in work scheduling tab (same as that of basic unit rather than BSUOM). see if it works.

Hii,

No, u cannot maintain for the same material. you have to use different material code, bcoz BatchUOM ref to material & client info. So, u need to use diferent material code nomenclature for different palnt.
