Dear Experts,

Good day to you...

Please advise me about is it SAP standard that allow user to change the PO price after the GR done? Why this is allow? Where can I get the setting in IMG?

Any method to block user from changing the PO price after GR done? If yes, what is the step? will this change bring any impact?

Thank you.

Hi Christina,

It depends on the way you have configured the system,

if you have a release strategy and there you have defined that that there cant be any change in the PO once completely released, then you cant change it without revoking the approvals,

but if there is no Release startegy, you can change the documents after GR also.

in this condition, your accounting enteries will change, based on the MIRO date, because at the time of MIRO, if the material is there in the Store then at the time of MIRO your stock account will also hit, but if the material is not there in the stores then the accounting entries will be different.

Hope it Helps.

Hi Yawar Khan,

Thank you for your reply.

Where can I check the release strategy that you mentioned about? Is this in IMG? I need to find the setting and present to management.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi Christina,

In IMG you follow the path, Material Management> Purchasing> Purchase Order> Release Strategy For Purchase Order> Define Release procedure for Purchase Order

Here check out for the release indicators, make sure that for you Indicator(not released), the "changeble" should hold "1" (can not be changed.

you can press F4 and check for other options.

Hi,

you can check the release strategy path PO as follows...SPROMMPurchasing-Purchase orderrelease procedure for PO--define release procedure for purchase orders. Here you can check the different types of release strategy maintained for purchase orders. Hope it helps.
