I want a mail of my workbook or Query?

Hi,

I would like to know wheather I can send a final workbook or query result as mail to anyone?

once my query is finalised I will be making a workbook out of it. now I want to send this workbook to my client mail id.

Is it possible?

We discussed this topic in SAP Community: there's a VBA solution to this problem ... after SUBSAPBexOnRefresh it has to be called "ActiveWorkBook.SendMail" method. The only mandatory property is "Recipient" ...

Vijay,

You can send the result of a Query as an email to your MS Outlook inbox provided the result is a summary report.

Following steps need to be done,

1. Schedule this report to run in background using Reporting Agent

2. While doing this (scheduling) you can configure the settings to send the results to spool list (can be a single SAP ID or group of SAP IDs)

3. In the client PC - go to Control panel - Mail - map to SAP MAPI Service provider (if you don't see this contact your BAsis team)

4. This setting will add a sub folder in your Microsoft Outlook screen with that BW system.

Evertime the report run as per your reporting agent setting, the result would be sent to your outlook inbox. hope this helps.

There is currently no functionality w/in BW to do this. You would have to open the workbook and mail it yourself. I think this functionality will exist in future versions.
