"Development Tools" on wrong menu

I have set up my SBO to display recurring postings on startup. When this window is displayed, the "SAP Business One" menu does not appear until the window is closed again. This results in the add-on menu "Development Tools" being created on the "Tools" menu because of the numbering of the menu items, and from there the "Screen Painter" will not be started. It results in a run-time error.

Is there any solutions to this problem for SBO 6.5?

When I develop add-ons myself, I let my programs run through the top menus find the correct menu number before adding new menus.

    Hi Trond,

there's at least a fix for a similar bug (regarding change of language) in 6.5 SP1:

ScreenPainter is then capable to react to the language change event (that rebuilds the menus) appropriately.

I hope, but I cannot confirm, that also your issue has been taken care for...

Perhaps you might consider to create a CSN message for this?

My own add-ons do not have this problem since I search for the "Module"-menu before I add my menu items, and as we know all menu items will be identified by unique IDs in the 2004 version.

For people working with the UI APIs in 6.5 I will absolutely recommend that they use a similar approach to what I do.

But I will create a CSN message for the Screen Painter.
