VS2010 CR Runtime Error

I started developing some VB.net apps using Crystal Reports Beta. My beta would not uninstall so I followed the directions posted many times on this forum to manually remove it. I installed the current version of Crystal reports. Now everytime that I start up a new or existing crystal report application I get the error "An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime. Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient, or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly. Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64, or Itanium) required." I have tried to modify the existing reports compile to be .net 4 runtime and x86 but that didin't help. I also tried to uninstall Crystal and resinstall it but that did not work either. I am not sure what else to try on this one. I can't even redo the reports because I get the same error when starting a new one.
