Getting HTMLb ID for use in Javascript in EP6

Hi All,

I am trying to get the ID of HTMLb input component so that I can use it with Javascript, however I am having trouble getting this to work in EP6.

Here is the code that I am using:

<%String compID = null;%>

<hbj:radioButtonGroup id="GroupID" columnCount="3">

<%compID = pageContext.getParamIdForComponent(GroupID);%>

<hbj:radioButton id="one" text="P Drive" key="1" tooltip="Seach across P Drive" disabled="False"/>

</hbj:radioButtonGroup>

However I am recieving an error of:

cannot resolve symbol symbol : method getParamIdForComponent (com.sapportals.htmlb.RadioButtonGroup) location: class javax.servlet.jsp.PageContext compID = pageContext.getParamIdForComponent(GroupID); ^ 1 error .

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advanced,

Vic

    I have solved my own problem.

    The page context was not pageContext

    old code:

    <hbj:content id="myContext" >

    new code:

    <hbj:content id="pageContext" >
