Hi,
As a SAP SRM supplier portal is included within the SAP SRM Server and is for example used for RFx and auction posting by the supplier.
I would like to know whether any one has used the SAP SRM 7.0 supplier portal (SRM SERVER) to provide the supplier the ability to view their purchase orders, invoices etc.. And if there is any other functionality within the SAP SRM supplier portal included which might be of interest.
Kind regards,
Tim
Hi Tim,
We have used the features you have mentioned but as a part of SUS. Are you not interested in using SUS?
Also you could use the supplier portal to send response to Bids created in your SRM EBP system. Suppliers can then login and submit the response to the Bids created for them.

Nikhil

Hi Tim,
As mentioned by Nikhil, I have used the supplier portal functionalities in SUS to view PO, PO acknowledgement and invoices for suppliers.. In fact, it is better to encourage the suppliers to use sus rather then allow them to access your SRM system directly.
Supplier portal in SRM is basically used by Suppliers to create bid directly in SRM. I donot know people using Supplier portal in SRM to view POs and its follow on document.
Even from SRM7.0 Enhpk1, bidding part has been enabled in SUS.

Ranjan

Hi Ranjan and Nikhil,
Thank you for trying to help. As stated i'm not interested in SRM-SUS on this matter but am interested in the supplier portal functionalities provided within SRM_SERVER. I've looked it up in SAP help and found my answers. In addition your "security" stand point on this matter was quite interesting.
Kind regards,
Tim
