WEBAS 6.20 and R/3 enterprise upgrade

Hello,

I'd like to know if with webas 6.20 all the R/3 transactions are "automatically" available on webas 6.20 and the user has the option to choose between the old sapgui or browser access.

Thanx

    Hello Marco,

If you just have an empty Web AS, you can hardly call any transactions related to SAP modules like FI/CO, HR etc etc. If you upgrade your existing R/3 system from it's currecnt release to Enterprise 4.7, then you CAN call all the transactions that you could also call in the old system.

As for sapgui vs. browser access I can say that your old sapgui will only work with Enterprise if it is sapgui version 6.20 or higher. You can use webgui in your browser I guess, but if you men that all sapgui screens have been converted to web-screens (or BSP applications), I think that SAP hasn't done that yet.

    Does this help?

    Kind regards

    Alex Veen

    Thanx for the answer.

Is that mean on the enterprise version you can call SAP FI/CO transactions via the SAP GUI, but for the web you cannot call them via WAS without a further programming effort ? I know there is the ITS option but it'is another story.

    This is what I understood.
