Cannot connect to jdbc:sapdb://SAPXITCH/XID

Hi

When I try to access Integration builder i get the following error.

URL: http://sapxitch:50000/rep/start/index.jsp

Internal Server Error 500!

com.sap.aii.util.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:sapdb://SAPXITCH/XID [Cannot connect to host SAPXITCH [Connection refused: connect], -813.].

It seems JDBC is having problem connecting to database. I have JDBC 1.2 installed. Did any one come across this issue?. Any suggestions.

Thanks & Warm Regards

Raghu

    Raghu,

Check the port. 50000 seems like SAP default. If the port is correct then check if its listening.

    Hope this helps.

    Homiar.

      Dear Homiar

port 50000 is working fine. I don't have any issues with it. I can execute the following Urls

http://sapxitch:50000/index.html : this url displays SAPJ2EE start page

http://sapxitch:50000/sld/index.html : this urls work fine and I am able to access System landscape Directory

http://sapxitch:50000/RWB works fine. I use this url to do ping test for

      System Landscape Directory

      Integration Directory

      Integration Repository

      Mapping Runtime

      Runtime Workbench

Ping test for SLD and RW are fine. Ping fails for Integration Directory , IR and MR.

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks

      Raghu
