Method for printing invoices

I am looking for a way to develop a new function for printing invoices. The problem I have with the standard function in SBO is that you can not differ the number of copies needed per customer.

Unfortunately I am not very familiar with SDK (ony ABAP) and this topic was already discussed on the SAP Community SBO forum but nobody had good ideas how to solve this.

Does anybody know whether it is possible to print an invoice from a customer-build function in SDK?

Hi,

Currently - from a customer-build function you can only add calculated fields to a report.

this means that until version 6.7 you don't have any option to print user defined reports via SAP Business One (SBO) API.

In the future you'll have the option to edit report and print them using SBO API.

You can use an external report generator and retrieve Invoice data from SBO to the report generator.

bottom line: Report functionality is now under revising and should expose new functionality in the comming future.

I want to print a <u>standard SAP document</u> (invoice) from a customer-build function. Is that already possible or will that be possible in 6.7 ?

Hi again,

Printing interface is now 'under construction' design wise.

This means that it should be released in one of the future versions.
