Code in webdynpro custome controller

Hi Friends,

I have read in threads that Custome controller is also used to reduce the load on Component controller when there are lot of nodes/Code invloved or for grouping certian things.

so I have created a custome controller and written some code in WDDOINT method in of it .but the code was not triggering.

can you please tell in what cases we need to write the code in it/

Where is yr default view located?

The component controller attached to your default view is called first.

From experience I tell you that if you plan to have a large project a custom controller is the way to go.

If your view is clattered with tabs with many UI elements also consider using Uiviewcontainer to separate parts of your view like tabs into separate views. Let each view have its own component controller if needed.

Just suggestion, check whether Navigation Links has been created or not?

One more thing, WDDOINIT is used when you need to process data on Initialization itself.
