Hi all,
my smart form has three templates and 1 table. i need to apply page protection to these three templates and table.
i have found a note SAP NOTE 382366 saying page protection not possible in smart forms .
i have tried keeping templates and table in a folder but it is not allowing me to add page protection in templates and tables.
is there any method with which i can solve this.
Regards,
Rajat Magoo
Hi Rajat,
The protect and endprotect command doesn't work in smartforms.
By using a folder node and checking the 'Protect' checkbox, everything in that folder can be page protected.

Hi Rajat,
For the Page protect in tables, there is option in table itself.
Just double click on the table, then select table tab and click on details, then there is check box in every line type for the page break, select this check box.
I hope this will solve your problem.

Hi
As the above replies suggested you can put your table lines in a folder which will provide page protection and for template no need to put a page protection , a template acts as if its page protected.
Hope this answer helps you.

Hi rajat magoo,
1.Create a Folder in the table ,
2.Go to Output Options,
3.Initially Page Protectinon Checkbox is disable.
4.Drag the line type into folder and give the line type name in the folder.
5.now the page protection check box will enable .
6. check the page protection checkbox .
7.now the table is page protected.
Thanks
Surendra

Hello Rajat,
You cannot add a table inside a folder, alternatively try adding the table line type to a folder & enable the "page protect" checkbox.
