Dear Friends,
when i tried to log in with my <SIDADM> OS user it shows password Expired please enter new password for <SIDADM> .
and also same as oracle user also.
can i change those passwords for my os and db users through root user
if i change those user id password ,it will get any impact on my server
(my os/db are AIX & ORACLE ), please clarify

The user and the password of <sidadm> and <orasid> are not impact with oracle database . You can change the password of these users without problem.
If you want to change also the password of oracle users : sys / system / sapr3 you must use the utility brtools becose the passwords of these users are stored in the database under the schema of user OPS$ .

Yes. You can change, if there is no issue with the OPS$ users in oracle, because that is the user which connecting DB with <SID>adm. Try with R3trans once changed the password.
