Hi gurus,

While importing Support pack SAP_BASIS level 19. I get error 'Internal error: SPAM_CONFIRM_PATCH -> WRONG_STATUS: I'.

We had some SNOTE corrections applied before we import this Support pack.

Note: ALL transport request of the SNOTE are set to released. I Still get this error- 'Internal error: SPAM_CONFIRM_PATCH -> WRONG_STATUS: I'

With regards,

Livi

Hi,

Status "I" means the SAP_Basis patch 19 has already been applied and cofirmed in PAT03 table. In your case, the status of this has to be "N" - patch has not been applied.

Has your system already been patched to 19 and are trying to apply it unkowingly? IF no, then there is a good chance the notes you applied before patching has edited this table.

There is a workaround for this by manually editing PAT03 table and making the entry N but its not recommended.

Thanks soujanya,

We did the followin step and the error got cleared.

It had repair transport request, repair flag was reset in SE03 to fix.

Thanks and Regards,

I had exactly the same error in NW 7.0 with SPAM 43 by updating ST-PI 2008 SP 2 to 4.

I could update in SAINT the ST-A/PI, but not the ST-PI packages.

I checked the LOCK table, the PAT01 and PAT03 table, checked the table UVERS, the /trans/tmp folde; updated the tp and R3trans... nothing changed. Last but not least I could use the import function in SPAM by execution from menu: "SPAM -> Support Package -> Import queue" instead of Icon. It seems there is a bug in the SPAM version?
