hi,
in this forum there already was some discussions about to integrate Outlook into EP 5.0. My question is, how to do this with EP 6.0 SP2?
1. OWA: i think that SSO is not possible
2. Outlook view Control (Control X)
3. Business Package: i know that sap don't support the bp for communications, but are there any ohter bp for this who work with EP 6.0?
i already read all the discussions in this forum but there are so contradictions (lots of topics are very old).
can anybody give me an advice how to integrate outlook into portal 6.0 SP2?
help would be really great.
thanks
daniel
Hi,
We are using EP 6 SP2 and Exchange 2000. We looked a lot for Outlook SSO integration. But we couldn't establish a SSO connection between our OWA 2000 and EP. The only we can do is using outlook thick client. But I do not mean this for an integration. Because each client should have been installed Outlook. Except that only some functions of Outlook can be used with this method.
If somebody knows if EP 6 SP2 and OWA 2000 can be integrated (through SSO of course) otherwise please answer. I only need to know if it is possible or not?

hello,
i have read a lot more and i think, i will choose possibility 1, because we don`t want to install outlook lacally anymore and i think it's very time-consuming to develop a html page which offers all the functions of outlook (Possibility 2).
does anybody know if Single Sign-ON is possible with Outlook web access. i know that sap wrote some time ago, that with the new internet explorer patch xxx there is no more SSO possible.
any idea??
thanks daniel
