ERMS in IE 8.0 - Email body is grayed out

Friends, I have done all the relevant config for ERMS. We are on CRM 7.0 Web UI and using IE8.0 , the Email fields are grayed out(like body of the message ) . I did tried downloading the JRE 1.4.2 and uninstalled the Latest Java.

Looks like the issue is with the IE 8.0 browser. I did go through some of the OSS notes relating to IE 8.0. But can't find any relevant information on the JRE / Java browser version.

Any suggestions welcome

Hello Sai,

If the email and related fields appear grayed out in the Email Editor inside the Interaction Center, I would first double check the Outbound Plug mapping of the Email Editor link in your Nav Bar profile.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I double checked the OP Mapping with the standard navbar profile. I have the following entries

IC_EMAIL B Display IC_EMAIL2

IC_EMAIL D Create TEMAILCR

please reply at your leisure time.

I just found a simple mistake. I forgot to assign my e-mail profile to the Business Role . It works fine now. Thanks, Sai
