Hi all,

iam trying to create Z data source by using view .

first i created view name Z_VIEW.

next when iam creating data source (ZVBAK_VIEW) by that view iam geting error like this

invalid extract structure template Z_VIEW of data source ZVBAK_VIEW.

Can any one reslove my problem

Hi Satish,

I hope you are trying to create a DS based directly on view. Whenever you try yo create a DS based directly on View, i hope an Extractor structure will be generated in which we will have to include all the currency/Unit fields & the table from which they are derived.

If Extractor structure is created for your DS(you can find in RSO2 trans)--> double click on the extractor structure --> Include the Unit/Currecncy fields & its reference table in the currency/quantity fields tab for all the necessary fields having Unit/Currency.

make sure your view has correct refernce for the currency or unit field... then activate it....

once its done, the datasource should be activated

This error is generally due to Unit field. Make sure you have unit field in your view.

Refer SAP Note 951045. It will help you.
