Characteristics Description in planning book

Dear All,

I have maintained master data for Z-characteristics manually from RSA1. As for example ZPLANT is a characteristics having master data 1000 & 2000 with description Plant1 & Plant2 respectively. Now in planning book I can see both key (1000) and description (Plant1) in the selection option. But in the drill-down of the planning book only characteristics key (1000) is coming.

I need to show description (Plant1,Plant2 etc) in the planning book instead of the code (1000,2000 etc). Is there any option to show that in the planning book?

Hi,

In the transaction /SAPAPO/SDP94, after the "Selection Window" button (wherein we select characteristic objects), we have button for "Choose Selection Fields" ( 10th buttom from the left). Therein if we set the Product / location description fields, we will get product and location descriptions in the shuffler.

I can view it in the selection panel. But I need to view it in the right hand side where the data comes against the selection.

Hi ,

In the header information settings of the planning book, select the ID & Text for the location.
